Everything runners usually ask before their first visit — what the analysis involves, who it's for, what it costs, and how to get started. Still stuck? Send us a message.
It's a full biomechanical assessment of your running form. You run outside in a natural environment while we record at 240 fps from multiple angles. It also includes a Physical Therapy evaluation to determine the underlying strength and mobility deficits driving your form breakdowns — plus a shoe consultation. You leave with a personalized plan: your Movement Blueprint, the annotated video, and the data behind it.
Plan for about 90 minutes. That covers your intake and history, the video capture, the hands-on biomechanical exam, and time to walk through what we found and your plan.
Not at all. We see three kinds of runners: those stuck in a cycle of the same nagging injury, healthy runners chasing a PR who want more efficiency and durability, and brand-new runners who want to start right. If you run — or want to — there's something here for you.
Your Movement Blueprint document (a personalized rehab + performance plan), a metrics report benchmarking your cadence, ground contact, oscillation, pelvic drop and asymmetry, and shoe guidance matched to your gait. We send the digital pieces to your inbox.
Drop us a message through any of the contact cards on the site with a few details about your running, or call us at (512) 640 9904. We'll reach out to get you scheduled and answer any questions first.
Wear what you'd normally run in, and bring the running shoes you use most — they tell us a lot. If you have a newer or alternate pair, bring those too. Comfortable clothing you can move and be assessed in is ideal.
Yes. For runners in other cities or with busy schedules, you can upload your running videos to our platform and our Doctors of PT will assess your form and build a plan. It includes a video call to review your footage together, walk through the plan, and answer questions — shoe consultation included. Learn more →
Yes. Your analysis and treatment are performed by Doctors of Physical Therapy who specialize in running and sports injuries — not handed off to a tech. Every session is one-on-one with a clinician.
The Video Running Analysis is a one-time deep dive into your form and the plan to improve it. Physical Therapy is ongoing care for an active injury — hands-on treatment plus a program to resolve the root cause and get you back to running. Many runners start with one and continue into the other.
Dry needling uses a thin, sterile needle to release trigger points — tight, irritable bands in an overworked muscle — to ease pain and restore movement. It's a Western, evidence-informed technique grounded in anatomy, not acupuncture. It can be part of your treatment plan or booked on its own. Learn more →
Depending on your needs: blood flow restriction (BFR) training, neuromuscular e-stim (NMES), compression therapy, advanced manual therapy, and video-guided movement work — all selected to get you back on the road faster or make the miles feel easier.
Video Running Analysis starts at $295. Physical Therapy evaluation is $195. Sports Performance is $125/session. Dry Needling is $80 (one site) or $100 (two sites). Shoe Consultation is $180. Package and follow-up rates are available — just ask.
Yes. A $50 refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot for an evaluation, and it's applied toward the cost of your visit.
The deposit is fully refundable as long as you cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment forfeit the deposit, since that time was held just for you.
We're out-of-network with every insurance plan — on purpose. It's what lets every visit be a full hour, one-on-one with your Doctor of PT: no double-booking, no being passed off to a tech, no rushing you out the door.
That focus pays off. Most of our runners reach their goals in 40–60% fewer visits than a traditional clinic, so the total often costs less than it looks at first glance.
If your plan includes out-of-network physical therapy benefits — many that offer in-network coverage do — you may be reimbursed for part of your care. We'll gladly provide a superbill to submit to your insurer. We also accept all major credit cards and FSA/HSA cards.
